CUGDr. Arun Vishwanathan delivered a lecture on “Contemporary Global Nuclear Scene and Challenges for India” to the M.Phil and Masters students of the School of International Studies, Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. The lecture dwelt on the global evolution of nuclear weapons and delivery capabilities and in particular growing Chinese and Pakistani nuclear arsenal. It also discussed how new technologies and capabilities are influencing thinking about nuclear strategy and deterrence.
