Suparna Banerjee was Senior Research Fellow in the ISSSP at NIAS, Bangalore. She pursued her M.Phil from Institute of Foreign Policy Studies, University of Calcutta. Her dissertation was titled, “Interpreting State Policies towards Maoism: Legacy of conflict resolution in the subcontinent.”
Before joining NIAS, Suparna was an intern with the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA). Her areas of interest include peace and conflict studies, conflict management, conflict resolution, internal conflicts and insurgency.
