- Base Pay: Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) get ₹18,000/- as their base pay.
- Grade Pay: ₹1,800/- is the grade pay for MTS.
- Pay Band: According to the 7th Pay Commission, the in-hand salary for MTS comes in the range of ₹18,000/- to ₹22,000/- per month.
SSC MTS 2024 Selection Process
To get hired for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) jobs in the SSC MTS 2024 exam, there are two steps: the computer-based test (CBT) and document verification.
If you take the computer-based test (CBT), you will be asked 90 multiple-choice questions over the course of two rounds.
- In the first session, there will be 40 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering numerical and mathematical skills, reasoning skills, and problem-solving. These questions will be worth 120 points each.
- Part 2: There will be 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on general knowledge and English language and comprehension. Each question is worth 150 points.
